Rocky Mountain serves its preference customers in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas. We sell more than 2.3 billion kilowatt-hours of power, generating from 19 hydroelectric plants. These plants are part of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project and the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program–Western Division and sold as the Loveland Area Projects.
The Rocky Mountain Region is one of four regions of the Western Area Power Administration.
Rocky Mountain sells power in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas to wholesale customers such as towns, rural electric cooperatives, public utility and irrigation districts, federal, state, and military agencies, Native American tribes and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation customers.
