September 11, National Day of Service

Honoring Service and Resilience on September 11

Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the resilience shown by our nation in the face of adversity. As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, we are reminded of the bravery of first responders and everyday citizens and the power of unity and service.

At WAPA, service is at the core of who we are. We are proud to be part of a mission that provides reliable, renewable energy to communities across the western United States. On this Day of Service, we are encouraged to extend that mission of service beyond our daily work. Whether through volunteering in our communities, supporting local initiatives, or simply offering a helping hand to a neighbor, small acts of kindness and service make a lasting impact.

As we progress together, let’s use today to contemplate the strength of our communities, the significance of serving, and our collective duty to create a better, more secure world for future generations.

Thank you for all you do to support the people we serve.
