2022 RATE ADJUSTMENT – TRANSMISSION AND ANCILLARY SERVICES
The Western Area Power Administration Rocky Mountain Region’s Rate Order No. WAPA-198 for Transmission, Ancillary Services, and Losses Formula Rates will kick off October 1, 2021. The current rates are due to expire September 30, 2021. RMR is in the process of extending these formula rates while concurrently working on a minor rate adjustment to put long-term rates for RMR to use under the WEIS Market for a 1-year period effective October 1, 2021. This will allow RMR time to discuss difficult issues and allow additional time to work through and obtain stakeholder input ahead of putting all transmission, losses, and ancillary services formula rates in place under this rate adjustment process for a 5-year period effective October 1, 2022.
