Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) received notification from Wibaux Wind, LLC that it is discontinuing the development of the Wibaux Wind Project, identified as GEN-2018-069 and GEN-2019-023 in Southwest Power Pool, Inc.’s (SPP) Generator Interconnection Queue, and is no longer pursuing its requested interconnection to WAPA’s existing Mingusville 230-kV Switchyard. Therefore WAPA, in cooperation with Wibaux Wind, LLC, is cancelling the Environmental Assessment (EA), DOE/EA-2212, for the Wibaux Wind Project, Wibaux County, Montana.
