WHITE WIND FARM PROJECT

Navitas Energy proposes to build up to 200 MW of wind generation over 31 square miles of land in eastern Brookings County, near the city of White, S.D. The project would interconnect to WAPA’s White Substation in the southeast corner of the project area.

The proposed project consists of up to 102 wind turbine generators rated at 2 MW each, connected by an underground electrical and communication collection system that would feed into a collector substation near White Substation.
