Stacey Decker serves as the Director of the Power Marketing Administration Human Resources Shared Service Center within the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer at the Department of Energy. In this role, she provides strategic HR leadership and support for the Western Area Power Administration, Southwestern Power Administration, and Southeastern Power Administration.

Decker has more than twenty years of federal service experience in organizational development, human capital strategy and change management. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives focused on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration.

Before her current role, Decker served as Director of Strategic Advisory and Hiring Services for the PMA HR SSC. She also held leadership positions in employee and stakeholder engagement, organizational development, and strategic planning for Western Area Power Administration. Additionally, she served as Deputy Manager of the Human Resources Operations and Information Systems Office at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Johnson Space Center.

Decker earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Newman University. She also completed the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
