When did you start working with WAPA? I started working with WAPA in 1985 while at the Salt River Project, and then again in 1998 with CREDA.
What is the most interesting thing you have worked on with WAPA? Rate and work plan initiatives that have resulted in no CRSP rate increases for seven years. I've also worked on post-2004 and 2024 marketing plans and contracts and collaborated on several multi-party, multi-year environmental impact survey processes. While at SRP, I negotiated multiple multi-party agreements for planning, design, construction and operation of the Mead-Phoenix 500-kilovolt transmission line project. I have had the opportunity to work with five WAPA administrators and five CRSP MC managers, as well as too many great WAPA staff members to count.
How does WAPA support your industry or business? WAPA is integral to CREDA. CREDA members are all CRSP firm electric service customers. CREDA will also be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018.
