Western’s website now managed by one system

WAPA's Media Line: 720-962-7411

Western’s migrated external website went live July 14. To follow federal Web rules and regulations, Western’s public websites are now maintained in one content management system. This effort reduces the cost of managing and supporting websites.

URLs changing

All web urls have changed. Additionally, the domain will no longer exist. Be sure to update your bookmarks.

HTTPS? In June 2015, the White House mandated that all Web addresses for federal agency sites begin with “HTTPS,” indicating a secure domain and ensuring strong privacy and integrity protection. The deadline to adopt this cybersecurity standard is Dec. 31, 2016. Western took the opportunity to meet the deadline ahead of schedule during the migration. All URLs are now HTTPS compliant.

What's next? The website migration was the first of a two-part Web upgrade and redesign. The second part will redesign the look, feel and functionality of the website. More information about Western’s website redesign project will be provided in late 2015.
