The CRSP Transmission System Planning work group, acting on behalf of the CRSP Manager, is the central point of contact for all CRSP transmission-related activities and is responsible for the overall management of all CRSP transmission assets.

Our Mission: “Maximize the Amount of Marketable CRSP Transmission.”

TEAM PROFILE

The CRSP Transmission System Planning work group was born out of WAPA’s 1998 Standards of Conduct (SOC) initiative. The SOC initiative was WAPA’s response to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Order 889/18 CFR 37 to provide nondiscriminatory transmission access to all parties and to make transmission information available to all parties at the same time.

A limited number of staff within the CRSP Management Center are dedicated to managing and coordinating these activities, with most staff level work being provided through collaborative arrangements among WAPA’s Corporate Services Office (CSO), the Rocky Mountain Regional (RMR) office and the Desert Southwest Regional (DSR) office.
