Integrated Resource Planning Principles

​Western Area Power Administration proposes to revise its current Final Principles of Integrated Resource Planning as they apply to resource acquisition and to eliminate the principles applicable to transmission planning.

Below are the comments WAPA received on the principles during the comment period. WAPA will respond to the comments and make any adjustments to the IRP principles as necessary in a future Federal Register Notice.

The original Final Principles of IRP were published in the Federal Register June 9, 1995, Final Principles of Integrated Resource Planning for Use in Resource Acquisition and Transmission Planning, and became effective July 10, 1995. It can be found on GPO's Federal Register site.
