This course will present concepts, discussions, exercises, hands on activities, reviews and tests utilizing the Fault Assisted Circuits for Electronics for Training (FACET) system. Includes an introduction to magnetism and electromagnetism. Course will focus on principles of Direct Current (DC) theories and laws including: series, parallel and combinations, switches, power, Kirchoff's laws and Volt-Ampere-Ohm metering. May be used as initial and/or refresher training.

A review of magnetism and electromagnetism concepts will be followed by Alternating Current (AC) fundamentals including: Measurements, Inductance, Capacitance, Inductive/Capacitive reactance, Transformer Fundamentals, RLC circuits, Series/Parallel resonance. Additional AC topics as time and class pace permits to include: Power, Low/High Pass filters and Bandpass Filters.
