MISO/MAPP Seams Evaluation

June 2009 Update

In February 2009, FERC rejected MISO’s Module F Part III, Market Coordination Service.  A copy of this FERC Order is posted below.  This FERC ruling removed Module F Part III as a workable option to study. 

Western's Upper Great Plains Region (UGP) has executed a service agreement under MISO’s Module F Part II.  This Interconnected Operations and Congestion Management Service Agreement will serve as a successor to the expiring Seams Operating Agreement between MISO and MAPP on behalf of its members. 

UGP mailed a letter to customers dated Jun 11, 2009 (posted below), providing a summary report on the conclusion of the MISO/MAPP Seams Evaluation process.
