Request for Proposal - Ellsworth Air Force Base

Western Area Power Administration (Western) is seeking proposals, on behalf of Ellsworth Air Force Base (Ellsworth AFB), for long-term renewable firm power and energy with associated certificates (Renewable Co-supply) to meet Ellsworth AFB’s Renewable Co-supply needs, above the power and energy supplied by Western, and renewable energy goals.

Western intends to award one Renewable Co-supply contract, on behalf of Ellsworth AFB, if cost effective, to begin deliveries February 1, 2008.  The Renewable Co-supply contract will be for a term of up to 20 years.  A Notice of Intent to Propose is due by October 31, 2007, and Final Proposals are due by November 30, 2007.
