Workshop Scheduled on Voltage Support Environmental Impact Statement

FOLSOM - The Western Area Power Administration is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement that addresses potential alternatives to ensure the continued reliability of Western's transmission system in the Sacramento area.

An informal public workshop to discuss the potential alternatives in the Sacramento Voltage Support EIS will be held Wednesday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at Western's Sierra Nevada Region Office, 114 Parkshore Drive, Folsom. Formal public meetings are planned for November in Lodi, Folsom and Marysville after the release of the Draft EIS.
