Western's Sierra Nevada Region operates approximately 1,200 miles of high voltage transmission line in the Central Valley Project (CVP) and California-Oregon Transmission Project (COTP).

Information about Western's transmission systems are available through OASIS, which stands for Open Access-Same Time Information Systems. Four OASIS operate in Western's area. OASIS access is for transmission system users and is not available to the general public.
