FEDERAL FACILITIES SEEK MORE POWER
LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Two New Mexico Federal facilities need up to 70 megawatts of additional block power starting in January 2009.
Western Area Power Administration’s Colorado River Storage Project Management Center issued a Request for Proposals (pdf) for power deliveries to Sandia National Laboratories and Kirtland Air Force Base.
The RFP seeks power supplies starting on or after Jan. 1, 2009 for a period of six months to 10 years.
