WESTERN RECOGNIZES DENVER
RESIDENT FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE
LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Denver resident Charles Tally will receive Western Area
Power
Administration’s highest honor at a ceremony July 15 at Western’s
Corporate
Services Office in Lakewood, Colo. Western’s Administrator
Mike Hacskaylo will present Tally
with the Exceptional Service Award during the ceremony.
“I congratulate Charles Tally for making outstanding
daily
contributions to Western. Charles exemplifies our values by
serving his customers and peers
with great dedication. His skills, initiative and commitment help to
make
Western a premier power marketing and transmission organization,”
Hacskaylo said.
For 20 years, Western has
benefited
from Fiscal Specialist Tally’s knowledge and unwavering dedication.
Tally
receives this recognition for his ability to improve fiscal processes,
train
other employees and meet customers’ needs.
He successfully improved
financial
efficiency by reviewing internal procedures and processes. He reduced
the
number of prompt pay interest payments and increased Western’s on-time
payment rate
by more than 15 percent. Now he challenges himself and Fiscal staff to
maintain
the almost perfect on-time rate.
Tally uses his free time
to play
video games and basketball and spend time with his daughter Ka’Tia and grandchildren Don’Dre, Darrion and Danae.
