Westminster resident to receive Western's highest honor

LOVELAND, Colo.- Westminster resident Jane Meyer will receive Western Area Power Administration's Exceptional Service Award from Administrator Mike Hacskaylo in a ceremony June 27. The ESA is Western's highest award.

A Western Restructuring Manager, Meyer graduated from Montana State University in 1972 and began her Federal career in 1973 as a secretary for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in Billings, Mont. She joined Western's headquarters in Golden, Colo., as a budget analyst in 1988.

The ESA recognizes Meyer for her significant involvement in, and outstanding contribution to, Western's position in industry restructuring formulation, especially regional transmission organizations.

Jane and her husband, Gary, live in Westminster, Colo., and have two grown children and two grandsons.
