Federal Executive Association recognizes proactive president
PHOENIX—Reta Taylor, president of the Phoenix Federal Women’s Program Interagency Council, was recently recognized here for her outstanding contributions over the last year.
2000 Phoenix Federal Executive Association President Katherine Ott Verberg presented the Outstanding FWP Manager Award to Taylor at the FWPIC and Hispanic Employment Program Managers Annual Training Seminar and Awards Luncheon. Taylor has been active in FWP for three years, and when membership fell last year she volunteered to become president. Taylor assisted with planning the annual conference and chaired all meetings.
Taylor is an accounting technician for Western Area Power Administration in the Desert Southwest Regional Office in Phoenix.
In her free time, Taylor is the director of the Luke Air Force Base and Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church choirs and works with a homeless shelter and organizations such as the ShoeBox Ministry for the Homeless, and People Needing Food. She attended Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, Va. and resides in Phoenix with her family.
Western Area Power Administration annually markets and transmits more than 10,000 megawatts of power from hydroelectric powerplants owned and operated by the Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 15 central and western states.
