 Marketing Manager Appointed for the          

Rocky Mountain Region         

Western Area Power Administration        

GOLDEN, Colo.- Ron Steinbach was named Marketing Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region of the Western Area Power Administration. Steinbach, a native of northern Illinois and graduate of the University of West Florida has been a Western employee for 17 years. He brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing wholesale electric power.

Western, an agency of the Department of Energy, markets and transmits Federal hydroelectric power in 15 western states. The agency sells power to 638 wholesale customers, including municipalities, cooperatives, public utilities, state and Federal agencies and other electricity distributors. Western's Rocky Mountain Region includes portions of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas.
