Add value to your Web site with cool tools from WesternAre you looking for low-cost ways to enhance the content on your customer Web site? Use us! Western's Energy Services Web site has several features that can help your customers use energy more efficiently, or learn more about the way they use energy. All you need is a link from your site to the features on ours, and your customers have instant access to valuable tools. For example, with winter coming your customers will be looking for ways to save on their heating bills. Some will be installing new systems. To help them find the most cost-effective system, simply add a link from your Web site to Western's "Heat Calculator". After the customer selects from a menu of information about their current system and their replacement options, the calculator determines costs and presents user-friendly tables that show easy-to-understand comparisons. Another useful feature is Western's "tip of the day." It comes from the Energy Solutions Web site and offers new information in a "bite-size package" every day. It's located at tip of the day. In fact, a link to the Energy Solutions database is another good consumer link (energy_solutions/). It will let your customers search for information by topic. For example, a consumer looking for a new refrigerator can search in the appliances section for information to help make an informed purchasing decision. You may also want to supply a link to Western's Energy Services home page, which features links to recent articles focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other related topics. It has sections for news from within Western's service area, along with a section for news from around the nation. Of course, your customers aren't the only ones who can benefit from our Web site. It's a valuable resource for you and your employees, too. You can request technical assistance, order equipment from our equipment loan program, and ask questions through our Power Line. Check out what we have to offer. We're at www.wapa.gov/es.
