Register to submit your IRP online
Integrated resource plan reporting is about to get easier for Western customers with the new online IRP data collection program. Customers may register to use this standardized tool to submit their integrated resource plans as well as their annual updates.
Like the compliance training program introduced earlier this year, the new Web-based system is designed to streamline the reporting process, increase customers' understanding of the IRP requirements and ensure a consistent review process.

Federal block grant deadline extended for second time
The has extended the deadline for states to apply for funding for energy-efficiency projects. An amendment has been made to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) regarding late applications. Late applications for direct formula funds will be accepted until August 10, 2009, 8:00:00 P.M. ET.
Applications that were submitted by the initial June 25, 2009, due date will be forwarded to the awarding agencies for review and award. This extension will not delay the processing of those applications submitted by the initial deadline.
DSM Tech workshop is All About Heat Pumps

Equipment Loan Program seeks new tools
The Equipment Loan program, which allows Western customers to “test-drive” technical diagnostic tools and education kits, is looking for new technologies to add to its library.
