Parker-Davis Project
The Boulder Canyon Project incorporates Hoover Dam and the Lake Mead. Hoover Dam is the highest and third largest concrete dam in the United States. Lake Mead is the reservoir behind the dam, and can hold up to 2 years flow of the Colorado River. Water released from the dam meets not only delivery demand, but also power generation needs.

The Central Arizona Project is the largest water transfer system in the United States. It delivers water from Lake Havasu into central and southern Arizona through 336 miles of aqueducts and pipelines.

The Parker-Davis Project consists of Davis Dam, Parker Dam and corresponding powerplants, 1,500 miles of high-voltage transmission lines, and 32 substations. Parker Dam and Davis Dam are located on the Colorado River, downstream of Hoover Dam, and supply electrical energy to Arizona and southern California.
