The Spirit Mountain Energy Dissipater Power Plant is part of the Buffalo Bill Dam Modification, P-SMBP. The power plant is located on the penstock to the Buffalo Bill power plant. The power plant began generation in 1995. The powerplant has a generating capability of 4,500KW.

Marketable Energy and Capacity:

Had the power plant been in place, the available hydrology show the average annual gross generation for the years 1953 through 1993 from the Spirit Mountain Energy Dissipater Power Plant would have been 16.7 The average annual end-of-month capacity will be 2.2 MW.
