About Colorado River Storage Project Management Center

CRSP Management Center OfficeThe Ak-Chin Indian Community in Arizona, the city of Aspen, Colo., and Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico are a few of the vital customers of the Colorado River Storage Project's Management Center.

We assist customers in saving their valuable electrical resources by actively promoting energy management and conservation programs and helping them determine their future energy needs. When customers want new products and services tailored to their individual needs, we explore their ideas.

We are also committed to protecting the delicate balance of the Colorado River and its tributaries. Agencies that manage this river's resources must weigh its many roles: irrigation, recreation, hydropower and native and non-native endangered species habitat protection. Balancing these resources with the needs of water and electrical energy customers is a chief concern.

We have been actively involved in ongoing environmental studies about the Glen Canyon Dam since the 1980's. These studies, along with similar studies of Flaming Gorge Dam and the Aspinall Unit, represent Western's commitment to protect endangered animal and plant species in and along the Colorado River.
